Review of Beyond That, the Sea

What a beautiful story. It is so refreshing to read a WW11 story from such a different angle. Bea is sent to live with another family in America while war rages across Europe. Bea is 11 at the time and she integrates well into her temporary family. The story continues when Bea returns home to live with her biological family. It was so amazing to follow along as Bea lives her two different lives. This book is beautifully written and it definitely draws you in.
