Review of Every Day Is a Gift: A Memoir

I love memoirs! I am always fascinated reading about other people’s lives. This is another story about a remarkable person. Tammy Duckworth has overcome so many obstacles and difficulties throughout her life. This is story of resilience despite whatever challenges Tammy had to face. She has lived through poverty in her childhood, traumatic injuries in her Army career, become a mother and served as a US Senator. I was definitely in awe of what this woman has done with her life. This book is very inspiring!
