Penelope has invited other people with an interest in the area to make the trip with her. Once the group arrives the creepiness hits in full force. The story ramps up the suspense more and more as it progresses. The writing is so atmospheric and it really is crucial to the suspense as you definitely feel yourself immersed in the setting. As people start dying you are so hooked into the plot that you can’t put this eerie story down. A well written book with very interesting characters that all offer surprising twists and turns to the story.
