Review of On the Hustle

Wow! This is a steamy and entertaining second book in a series but can also definitely be read as a standalone. Alba and Theo are amazing together and I loved their dialogue. Both Alba and Theo are complex and layered characters with a lot going on in their lives. I also really appreciated Theo’s beliefs and actions regarding the position he took when he was Alba’s boss. It was a positive example of knowing the boundaries and enforcing them. Alba is refreshing and independent and she knows what she wants in life. I loved the Dominican representation throughout the book. Overall an entertaining book. I’m eager to read the next book by this author.
