Review of Take My Husband

I actually thought going into this one that it would be a light and humorous story. There are quite a few funny moments but this book was more serious than I thought. The premise of the story is that Laurel wishes her husband of many years was dead. She is practically a full time servant to him while holding down a full time job so it’s easy to see why she is fed up. The secondary characters were eccentric and fun. It was great to see the progression and growth in Laurel’s character. I liked the little twists and overall this was an interesting book that really came together so well in the end.
