Review of The Burning Blue: The Untold Story of Christa McAuliffe and NASA's Challenger Disaster

Thank you @henryholtbooks for my free review copy.

I was so excited to read this book. I was a big fan of NASA’s shuttle program and I was lucky enough to see a shuttle launch before they were discontinued. This book details what actually happened during Challenger’s fatal mission. I knew that it was O ring failure and that they launched when it was too cold but this book goes into a lot more detail about the many factors that contributed to the doomed launch that day. It was so interesting to learn more about the astronauts and in particular Christa McAuliffe - the first teacher in space. This book is well researched and was easy to read. If you are interested in this past space program I definitely recommend that you add this to your reading.
