Review of The Rise: Kobe Bryant and the Pursuit of Immortality

This is a different book about a sports superstar than we usually get! This is a story about Kobe’s formative years - from childhood until the NBA. I found the book very compelling and a great chance to see what made Kobe Bryant who he was. Like him or love him he definitely had a major impact in the NBA and was a role model for many even though he also had his scandals. I really enjoyed learning more about a young Kobe. If you are a basketball fan or Kobe fan you will enjoy this book. I think up and coming youth in basketball will also find this inspiring. Well written!
