This was an interesting character-driven novel. The main character, Jack, was engaging, and his conflict over selling the family-run restaurant was understandable. Jack has given all of himself to the business and now feels it is his time to enjoy life. He has a lot to contemplate and factor in as he weighs his decision. This book had a bit of mystery, romance, and unexpected family. The secondary characters definitely helped to round out this interesting plot.
