Review of The Weekend Retreat

This book definitely had a great dose of suspense! Three couples gather at their family home and winery to celebrate two of their birthdays. There is a lot of underlying tension even before the weekend begins. As with all families there are grudges and slights that have festered over the years and are now ready to boil over. None of them are aware that there is an intruder among them that sees all and is out for revenge against the family! I enjoyed the atmospheric writing and the intrigue. An interesting thriller to add to your TBR!
