Review of Together by Christmas

Every year Karen Swan has a Christmas book for us to enjoy. As well as beautiful covers her books are always set in interesting locations. This year the main character has had a job that is different from most main characters in Christmas stories and that brings another element to the book. Lee is a single mother who had been a photographer in some of the battle ravaged regions of the world and she bears the scars of what she has seen. I liked the characters and enjoyed reading about the setting and customs in Amsterdam at Christmas. This is not a light fluffy Christmas story but I’m glad I read it around Christmas.
