Review of Years in the Making

This book has a second chance love story with a lovable dog and an interesting cast of secondary characters! Nellie and Teddy have a history. One where Teddy broke Nellie’s heart. Once they see each other again he hopes to be able to prove he is worth a second chance. Their friends conspire to help this along by sending Teddy on a road trip with Nellie and her travelling library. I’m a lover of second chance romances so this story appealed to me from the beginning. I enjoyed watching Nellie and Teddy rekindle their romance and learn to trust each other. A main character as a librarian is also a great selling point for me to be invested in a book. This book is well written and keeps your interest throughout. This is the second novel I’ve read from this author and I have really enjoyed both of them. If you’re a romance reader be sure to give this one a read!
