Review of The Boyfriend Candidate

Another wonderful book that I loved by this author. This is a fun romcom with the fake dating trope. Alexis is a quiet and introverted librarian that steps out of her comfort zone for one night. A night that causes her and an up and coming Gubernatorial candidate, Logan, to become front page news. To save Logan’s campaign they decide to go the fake dating route. We know what will happen from there. I thought both Logan and Alexis were incredible as was their banter and unfolding romance. This book was well written and had interesting main characters with personal growth and great secondary characters. I love reading about politics so this book was definitely of interest to me. I really didn’t want this one to end. Make sure to add this to your summer reading list.
