Review of The Last Carolina Sister

This is the third book in a series but can be read as a standalone. This was a heartwarming story. Ryan is in Magnolia trying to rest and heal after being stabbed while working as a doctor in a big city ER. Meredith is living in her hometown of Magnolia and is running an animal rescue centre. Neither of them are interested in a relationship but are still drawn to each other. Can they make a relationship work and will Ryan decide to trade in the big city for a small town? I loved the adorable animals in Meredith’s rescue centre - especially the goats. This was a great book about overcoming your fears and learning to trust yourself.
