Review of Good Half Gone

This book started out strong for me and I was really enjoying it for most of the story. The atmospheric writing was great especially in describing the hospital and the island which housed the criminally insane where Iris gets a job. The premise of Iris trying to solve the mystery of her deceased twin sister’s kidnapping and death was intriguing. It all got a bit complicated and confusing though through the last third of the book with too many things happening all at once which I felt detracted from the initial plot.
