Review of Last Call: A True Story of Love, Lust, and Murder in Queer New York

This is a heartbreaking true crime book. The book details the murders of gay men in 80s and 90s in NYC when the AIDS epidemic and homophobia were rampant. The deaths of these men were never given the attention they should have and as a result the Last Call Killer got away with his crimes for many years. This is a well researched and disturbing book. It was so powerful to learn of the gay community and their fears. Thank you Celadon books for my free review copy!
