Review of The Friendship Study

What a beautiful book! Jesse and Lulu are complicated and endearing characters that have remained with me since reading this book! After a failed blind date Jesse and Lulu find out they have each committed to joining a study based on finding friendships. Both characters are lonely and dealing with significant events and challenges in their lives. There are a lot of layers to Jesse and Lulu and I feel like they were dealt with honestly and sensitively. The author has created a lovely and thought provoking story that I thoroughly enjoyed.
