Review of The Story of M

This is a spicy romance novel. Kate and her boss, M, have been in a clandestine romantic relationship for years. They both agreed in the beginning that they wouldn’t fall in love. Kate began to have different feelings and wanted them to have a real relationship and move away from the secrecy. Recently she had begun to notice some distance between her and M and she was growing increasingly concerned and disenchanted. After a massive communication break down Kate decides to go her own way. In the process her character had great personal growth and she began to understand herself more as time went on which was great to see. Overall I enjoyed this book. There were a few things I didn’t like but it is just personal preferences. For example I didn’t like that the male character was generally only referred to as M rather than his real name. There were a couple of other small things but nothing that took away from the story. I definitely liked the ending! Looking forward to more from this author!
